This utility support zip, tar.gz, tar.bz2, rar, 7-zip, LhA, StuffIt and many other more file format.

The unarchiver is also a very simpe to install and use. Just get The unarchiver v1.6.1 from here, Unzip the file, and then simply copy it into your Applications folder or whereever you prefer, and then set archive filetypes to open using it.

After all finished then you can extract for example .rar files by just double click them. Simple, light, and very easy to use.

dscacheutil -flushcache

if you are Tiger user, use this command in terminal :

lookupd -flushcache

Bonus; if you are Windows user, go to the command prompt [cmd] and use this command :

ipconfig /flushdns

sorry, but i dont know how to clear dns cache in Linux workstation, any idea? if you use bind as your DNS server in Linux you can reload dns cache by command [need root]

rndc reload

Nah buat yang pake OSX kayaknya torrent client yang satu ini cukup bisa diandalkan. Transmission, tidak hanya tersedia untuk Mac OS tapi juga tersedia untuk Linux, FreeBSD, dan juga Solaris.

Ok, langsung hajar aja di websitenya Transmission untuk mengambil installernya. Butuh minimal 10.4.11 [dengan update security 2008-002] atau Leopard 10.5.x untuk Transmission terbaru [saat ini 1.40].

Kalo udah dapet installernya silahkan langsung di double click dan kemudian ikuti instruksi yang ada. Kalo udah jadi bisa langsung dijalankan Transmission.app dan kemudian akan muncul tampilan seperti di bawah ini.

Gambar itu pas udah selesai ambil JaS OSx86, yah lumayanlah beberapa hari :D

Kesannya pake Transmission adalah aplikasi ini handal, dan lumayan responsif, selain itu Transmission juga sangat ringan seperti torrent client lainnya. Jadi? selamat ber-torrent… :D
